NATURAL LIGHT
Morning! Nick and I are in the process of looking for apartments. We LOVE our space right now, but we’re itching to move up towards Lincoln Park where things are a little quieter and feel more like a neighborhood. One thing that is at the top of our list is finding a place with great light. Our apartment now has huge windows, but is facing inward and is always so dark. I never realized how important it was until we started living here – having great natural light can make all the difference, whether it’s for taking photos or just working in a happy environment. Do you have good light in your space? Ahh I can’t wait to wake up in a sunny room, if only you could see how dark it is in our apartment as I’m typing..
On a side note, I am so excited to be a part of Joanna’s Design Journey series today. You can hop over there to learn a little about me and how I got started!

Ah that is going to be KEY when we look again. Since you know what Syracuse is like I don’t have to explain the lack of sunlight. Our kitchen, bathroom and office get decent light for Syracuse but our living room does not!
ohhh Syracuse, I know exactly what you’re talking about!
Light is so important! In my previous home I had a huge bay window in my kitchen, but it looked out onto a covered porch, so there was not much light coming in. It was definitely something I looked for when we were shopping for our new home.
It really is!
Natural lighting (and lots of it!) are a must for me as well! That above image is absolutely gorgeous… wow! What a space.
My husband and I just recently moved into a new place… and we have SO many windows. It’s one of the keys why we purchased it.
Good luck to you on finding your perfect place!
Thanks Latrina!
