Since Nick and I built our new desk, we still haven’t gotten around to hanging anything on the wall behind it. It’s such a big empty space that I’m having a hard time committing to something! Originally, I wanted to leave it open to hang changing inspiration. However, since it’s a part of our main living space, we’re now leaning towards something cleaner and more permanent. Lately I’ve been drawn to typographic prints, I think there are some really unique options, from clean typography to beautiful organic handwriting. It’s funny how taste changes – a few months ago I was really enjoying bold colored prints, now I’m loving these neutral shades; black, white & gold.

Side note – you guys, I have to admit something. I (kind of) cheated. I caved from my one month of no shopping and bought had Nick buy that top left special edition print. Technically, it was an early Valentine’s gift, but I had to let you know. I saw it and couldn’t let it out of my sight. I am however, super happy that I did, since it sold out about 30 minutes after I purchased it. I think it’s going to make a great addition to our wall. Besides that though, I have not bought one thing, 10 more days to go! I’ll give you the full update at the end of the month.
