MOOD BOARD / FOR ME!
Hey there. Sorry it’s been a little crazy this week. I finally made it back to Chicago late last night, and although it’s snowy, it feels good to be back!
Today I wanted to share with you a mood board I am working on for… myself! You may have seen some sneak peaks here and here, but I am in the process of re-designing my blog and making the move to wordpress.org. I’m pretty excited to finally have a completely custom design! Along with that is coming a little face lift to my logo, just minor updates.
Now for the mood board and look I’m going for. I want it to be very clean and simple with a pop of color here and there. As much as I love a very minimalist look, I also LOVE color, so I think this is a great happy medium. I also really enjoy the combination of hand-written elements (like ‘Jen’ in the logo) with really clean sans serif typography. Since I feature a lot of very visual images on my blog, I don’t want the design to overpower or compete with any of the content.
I can’t wait to share the final product with you! I’m hoping to launch in the next couple months, woo hoo!

So exciting!! I am making the switch from wordpress.com to wordpress.org as well. I am just curious if you have any tips to make the process go smoothly?! I haven’t researched a lot yet and thought i’d ask! Thank youuu!!!

I’m on blogger currently but I’m planning to make the switch in the next year. The colours are amazing here as well!
